Nation of Dreamers Duration: 19 seconds Completed: December 2016 Premise: As a personal project, I explored the challenges of facial performance in 3D animation. I used a quote from from Parks & Recreation, in which Leslie Knope explains to the viewer that in Russia, a people could pretend a pit was a park...but not in America.
Walk Cycle Duration: 5 seconds Completed: November 2016 Premise: I animated this shot with hopes of better understanding the mechanics of a walk. As a secondary objective, I aimed to capture a certain confident personality within each step.
Walk Cycle 2 Duration: 5 seconds Completed: November 2016 Premise: Utilizing a previously animated walk cycle, in this shot I attempted to move the goon confidently through 3D space.
Drive By Duration: 9 seconds Completed: December 2016 Premise: The final assignment of my foundation into 3D animation class. Utilizing everything I had learned, my goal was to create a believable performance as a man breaks from an impatient stance and into a walk.
Jump Duration: 4 seconds Completed: October 2016 Premise: In this shot, I explored the body mechanics of an essential exercise: the jump. With added flair, our hero leaps across rooftops, rolling out on the landing and into a defensive pose.
